In 2014 Comix Asylum began as an interactive magazine exploring the world of comic books and geek culture. Comics have always been a passion. From spinner racks of days long gone to interviewing some of the industry’s greats, the drive to create comic books has always been at the core of everything we do.
Nearly a decade later, our love for the comic book medium reached a new plateau with the successful crowdfunding campaign and publication of Atrium #1 from Comix Asylum Publishing. Atrium is just the beginning and we look forward to delivering diverse, entertaining and poignant stories that will inspire current and future readers.
From childhood, our dream was to create comics, and as we grew older, we dreamed of creating something new and unique for Canada's indie comic book scene.
Comix Asylum was born out of passion and a critical eye for what was missing in the comic book industry.
